While I'm on the subject of FNL, I'll just do this meme that I took from isis2015, who took it from hopelessfangirl. And I'm gonna do it myself and I won't put it under a cut because, well, just because....

01. bake cupcakes for: Julie. Then we'd sit and have girltalk and gossip and braid each other's hair.
02.trust with the keys to my car: Saracen, 'cause even tho he's a new driver I'm sure he's a conscientious one.
03. put thumbtacks on their chair: COACH, after he yells at my Timmy. :P Even though I love Coach, I do, but when my loyalties are divided between him and Riggins, well, Rigs always wins.
04. have a crush on: Oh, DUH! #33 4EVAH!!!!! ♥ ♥ ♥
05. pack up and leave if they moved next door: Landry. I'm sorry, 'cause I know his heart's in the right place, but he's a Nerd with a capital N, AND, I just know he'd be a pest. Wanting to bury dead bodies in my backyard and stuff.
06. vote for President / Prime Minister: Street. That boy just has the right stuff.
07. pick as my partner in a buddy movie: Tami. She and I are soulmates.
08. pair up: Does this mean pair up with me? Or pair up with each other? I already answered the first one, and the second...I'd get Tyra and Riggins back together, because they started the series with their breakup, and I'd like to see how they are together when they're, like, together.
09. vote off the island and into the volcano: Lyla. I'm sure I don't have to say why.
10. wheedle into fixing my MP3 player: Um, I keep saying "Tim," don't I? But he knows how to fix things. And he gets all greasy and his muscles flex and his hair falls in his face and, and...guh, just guh, he can be my Mr. Fix-it anytime. *flails, all fangirly-like*

Aaaaand, I just realized that I've got stuff to do, like the feedback challenge at lostsquee and the feedback discussion at thequillstation and finishing Prisms and Echoes, right. So I'd better run, bye y'all!

a few random things

because it's 10:08 p.m. and I *still* haven't opened Word and started editing the last part of Prisms. Watch me procrastinate!

A couple of months ago I backed into a metal hook and it tore the left half of the seat out of my favorite jeans. I was gonna try to patch it but I can't sew. Now I still wear them all the time when I'm at home (not out in public; I'm not THAT uncouth!), I just make sure to wear cute panties underneath. Want some TMI? Today I'm wearing leapord print. So just remember, when I'm sitting here writing fic or reading yours, I'm wearing jeans that show far more than is proper.

Remember when I used to post recipes? That was when I used to cook. I gave that up for Jack and Sawyer, 'cause they demand my full attention. But I made a fun supper tonight. 2 kinds of peanuts in their shells (Tobasco and plain), carrot and celery stix with blue cheese and ranch dressing, barbeque riblets and buffalo chicken nuggets, and sweet potato fries. Fudgesicles for dessert! It was yum.

There was something else but I forgot. I'll ETA when I remember, but now I have to get to WORK. You know, unless you talk to me and help me procrastinate some more. ;)

OH, ETA: I'm wearing my contacts, and I can't feel them at all! I gave up trying to wear them after my trip to LA, where one of them tore right before I went to see Wicked and that eye watered and itched and drove me nuts through the whole show. I didn't know what was going on because I'm so new to wearing contacts. It still takes me FOREVER to get them in, is there a trick to it? Mine are prescription but they're not corrective because my vision is 20/20, unaided, they're just a slightly deeper shade of green than my eyes and I wear them (once in a blue moon) because I think they're pretty. And today, for once, they're not driving me crazy!

ETA the second: Heh, here's my horoscope for tomorrow (almost today): It doesn't really matter how much work you have to do today, you are right on the edge of writing yourself a permission slip and then sneaking off to play. Unfortunately this is a great idea for another day; right now you have to keep an engaged appearance while fulfilling your obligations. Work hard early in the day so you can take advantage of all the fun later on.

Hee hee, I snuck off to play all day today! I guess tomorrow I WILL write. Remind me of this if you see me babbling aimlessly on LJ like I'm doing now.
