Here comes the bride...as Allie tries not to cry

Sigh.

My ex-former-almost-daughter-in-law is getting married this afternoon. She and my son dated for 4 years. They talked about marriage. They were too young then, but I thought it would stick. Then she changed a little, started going to a church that my son thought was too church-y, and they drifted apart. Then she met the assistant youth pastor and they fell in love. My son was relieved, I think, and he and Ashlie (and Jeff the groom) are still good friends.

And, Thing 1 is now in love with Abbey. *I* am in love with Abbey...y'know, in a platonic wanna-keep-her kind of way. She's the one who's gonna stick, I'm sure, and I'll be mother of the groom one day. We're all invited to Ashleigh's wedding so I'll be there with my future daughter-in-law, who is only waiting to finish college before, well...I don't wanna jinx it. ;)

So why do I still feel like crying? Why will I cry both sad AND happy tears at the wedding?

I get notifications in my email when my friends upload new userpics? I even got a notice that *I* uploaded one. Like, DUH! It's not checked in my settings, so wtf?

WHAT has happened to youTube? I depend on that site! I NEED it. But now 75% of the time I only get a black screen with a rotating white circle, like the vid is loading, but it never plays. Does youTube hate ME personally, or is this happening to everybody? And if it's everybody, does a similar site exist so I can watch vids elsewhere?

Y'all aren't talking to me? ;p Is it 'cause I'm talking too much? *shuts up*!

Me, I'm a lucky woman to count on both hands and both feet infinite times over the ones I love....

so I cried a lot. but one of the groomsmen gave me a peace sign and it was too funny so I giggled..

..instead. Crying and giggling at a small outdoor wedding makes people look at you strange. Oh well. The bride was beautiful and I told her she's still my girl, even if she's not Thing 1's girl anymore. She agreed, so I'm happy. And the food was good. That was the important part.

NOW I get to go snoop at Thing 1 and his current girl's apartment. I'm supposed to take care of the cat while they're visiting my mother, but I am dying to snoop. Maybe this calls for a poll.
