Thank God! I read the conclusion last night, mulled it over throughout the sleepless night (lying awake, listening to the heat pump run for a third night/day without pause, fretting), and this morning, went to comment. Then I couldn't find it! Thought I was going nuts - and still may be, but at least it isn't because I imagined a WTF fic. :)
Shall try to get back tonight, but more likely tomorrow night, after working late. However, I would like to go on record as saying that I was fascinated, and it was a very good WTF that I was thinking!
