My GOD Jack is so down in the depths, you can FEEL it, very well done on that. And what I loved is how you put how the condo felt to him, he lives there because I think in the back of his mind it does remind him of the caves, and how he was on that island and now how he's fallen apart since leaving it. That island is a mirror that shows the true self, he didn't like what he saw but there's no turning back now.
He has to go back, even if it's not for Sawyer (which in my mind it is..thank you) but for his own sanity, he belongs there, the outside world is slowly killing him..and maybe they weren't animals on that island or even turning into them, but he is now.
