This is just so raw... I think going blind is one of the things I'm most afraid of (hence my giant sunglasses that my friends like to mock me for), but it's such a scary concept, and then having Sawyer deaf on top of it, like he's in his own isolation chamber, just himself with his thoughts and barely sensing anything around him, no wonder he wants to die.

The moment with Jack reading to him was beautiful. I'm hoping for an island miracle with the healing. *fingers crossed*
