Awww, this is awesome -- such a great interpretation of the episode, and so much more eloquently put than I ever could!
I especially like your thoughts on Sayid, since I wasn't too keen on what I thought had happened there, but at this point it's really the only thing I can think of for the character that makes sense.
And that there are never-ending threads, and so many different options exist; very, very cool.
