*PERFECT* timing

There's nothing better for beating back the blues than making other people feel good, and what should I find going around my flist but this:

Reply to this post, and I will list three things I love about you. Maybe more than three. Then repost to your own journal and spread the love.

I really really need to spread some love, so let me tell you how much I adore you! ♥

(and you don't have to re-post if you don't want to; it's all good!)

I have oodles and oodles of love to spare for you, darlin'! Hmmm, where should I begin? When I think of you, the first word that comes to mind is UNIQUE. Beautifully unique, with the sheen of self-confidence that comes from not being afraid to be yourself. I really, really admire that. You are kind-hearted and generous, and I don't believe that you'd ever deliberately hurt anyone -- and that you'd be very upset if you did so accidentally. You're genuinely thoughtful, and it shines through in everything you say and in your gorgeous poetry. If I were to make a list of the people on my flist that I've yet to meet and really WANT to, yours would be one of the first names I'd write. And hopefully we WILL get that coffee one day soon -- is there any chance you might be able to meet up with me and Megan in NYC? *crosses fingers and toes*

♥!!!

I don't know how to respond - I can feel my cheeks heating up and I definitely flailed upon reading your comment. Thank you so much for your kind words. Things have been difficult 'round here, and this comment was exactly what I needed to hear. *smooches you*

Re: NYC. I would LOVE to do the meet-up! I mean... you *and* Megan?! Barring a second GFG, when will I have the opportunity to meet up with both you far-flung ladies? There are two things that I'm trying to wrangle currently: the distance [it's still eight hours to NYC from B-town] and the possibility of Suseh coming into town that weekend [there's a concert in Montreal that we are considering catching]. I really, REALLY want to meet up with you... so, yes, cross those fingers and toes. The travel gods have been kind this year, thusfar. [I think they might be fannishly inclined. ;D]

And hey - didn't you have a question/ questions for me? I admit your query about how personal those questions can be peaked my curiosity...

Yes ma'am, I do have a question for you! And I'll (oops, belatedly) ask you in your journal. Are you gonna be on LJ whilst on your L.A. adventure, or shall I wait til you get back?

I will keep my fingers and toes crossed tight, and hope for the best when we go to New York! I'd love nothing more than to meet you. *smooches!*

I think you've mistaken my wanderlust for Lou's - she's the one heading out to Cali, to meet up with Cassie for the concert. Granted, she's carrying a wee bit of me in her suitcase [as I yearn for both ocean and sun], but the collective T shall be ready and willing to answer any question you have to offer. :D

*calls upon NYC adventurin' mojo*

OOPSIES! My bad. I guess I had a little mind-fart there, didn't I? ;) I think it was because you mentioned Montreal, and that mixed up the wires in my easily mixed up brain. Sorry, love! Now I'm on my way to your journal to ask nosy questions!
