alliecat8Next week remind me, NO HOUSEWORK ON LOST DAY. Because it never ends well. I'm better off writing fic and making icons and randomly wandering the internet on Thursdays and making up for it on Friday, because of stuff like this:
I was downloading iTunes for my new iPod nano thingie...it's cute but those of you who know me (and know I haven't even learned how to work my cell phone yet) might question wtf I am doing with this high tech gizmo and my answer is "I have no freakin' idea!" But I think it starts with downloading iTunes, so that's what I'm doing. And while it's downloading I decided to be Useful, so I went to sort my laundry. When I bent down to reach into the hamper (which I've had in the same place for 10 years, just as my ironing board has hung from the door right across from it for at least that long and it NEVER BIT ME BEFORE), the metal hook that holds my ironing board ripped a BIG OL' HOLE in the back of my Levis. Not only that, but it left a 4" scratch on my right butt cheek, and it's bleeding! Yeah, I KNOW! TMI!!!!!
Which gives me some dilemmas: can one put a bandaid on one's buttcheek, and should I be a REAL hillbilly and patch my jeans (which are my favorites, dammit!) or bite the bullet and go to Walmart for a replacement? Shall I do a poll? Okay.

Date: 2008-02-29 03:37 am (UTC)But I would patch the jeans. Or better yet, if you have an artsy friend, let her go wild. My best buddy is an art major, and i give her all my jeans that I ruin. They usually come out pretty cool.
Aww! Yeah, um, dude? You might wanna put some neo' on that and a band-aid. And make sure you're caught up on your tetanus.
I know, paranoid. But give me a break. Pre-med will do that to you.
