Sooper Seekrit message to [livejournal.com profile] zelda_zee: FLAT IRON! Because Sawyer just can't get enough of playing with his own hair, to he satisfies his hair-joneses by playing with Sayid's. Then when they get distracted from their hair they roll around and pull each other's irresistible locks and scrunch it all up, which starts the cycle all over again. This game never EVER gets old. Sadly, this is one game that Jack can't play. >:( I was never much into Sun/Jin eps, and this one was even more lackluster than usual. We didn't even see the MRB get his come-uppance! On the other hand, with Jin's death I can really see Sun trying to find a solution to the paradox problem so that she can go back in time and change Jin's life (and death) -- and thus hers and her baby's. Oddly, she's the first one who gives the impression that she might WANT to change the past (and therefore the future), unlike Kate who seems to believe that she's the best thing that ever happened to Aaron. Sun probably just wants her family to be whole. This kind of conflict could cause some interesting conflicts between the O6. And there's no point in mourning Jin's death yet, because in island-time he's still alive and well. Which leads me to the paradox *tears out hair* -- if Sun manages to change the past, it'll affect the future, and she might not get pregnant at all. (Though I think that's unlikely since they all seem to be bound within the limits of Fate.} But if things get paradoxically (Megan and I consulted on the spelling and couldn't come up with a word that looked right) changed in some alternate future that they bring about by going back to the island, would Jin even be one of the O6 at all? It's possible that in an alternate version of the past, he never got on the plane in the first place. Annnnnndddddd...that leads to the question of "who's the daddy" AGAIN, and I'm going out to gulp some fresh :) NYC air and cure my headache. ;) Megan and I were too jet-lagged and NYC boggled to pay close attention to detail, so I'll write a better review after I get home and can watch it on the DVR. In the meantime I'll rely on YOUR reviews and savvy observations to help me see all the little things I missed. ♥
