ooh...shiny!

Y'all I just found this awesome summery layout last night...look, it even has an "S" (sorta) in the header (for Sawyer, natch). Anyway, does anybody know how I can KEEP the pretty orange header that's there, but customize it to include, oh, I dunno, maybe SAWYER? Remember I'm techno-challenged so answer in baby-talk. ;)

ETA: On second glance, doesn't that other squiggle kinda look like an upside-down "J"? (For Jack, natch!!!) :D

Manage > Customize, Customize your theme (right hand side)

Look in your Custom CSS (left hand side, down a bit) and see if there's an image name that corrolates to your header (copy/paste every URL that looks like an image, LOL), and if you can find it, make your own header, upload, and then substitute the URL for YOUR image for the one already there.

It's something to try. If it's not in your Custom CSS I have no clue, LOL.

Oooh pretty! Love the summery look to it. And we all know Sawyer would look damn hot on that new layout. ;)

I don't have the faintest clue how to modify it (thank god Mystic's around, huh?) I've been gone from LJ for so long that I didn't even know about the LJ cut "inappropriate content" for minors. What's that about and why is everyone using them-- even for PG posts? Help?

I just encountered the cut tag thing the other day. Awhile back LJ introduced an adult content rating thing, for individual posts or for whole journals. Some people didn't want to go back and retag individiual posts so they just rated their whole journal "adult." Which apparently makes everything have a funny cut tag.

As for the layout, Allie, listen to Mystic for she knows all. :)
