A little Juliet help?

Is anybody around? I'm working on the second part of my new fic (and don't worry, I haven't given up on the way-late luau project, I'm just taking a little break because Jack and Sawyer were calling my name ;)), and I wrote something about Juliet being a practical woman, and then I wondered if that was OOC. Do you think she's a practical woman? Do you think she's a practical doctor? I want to hear your opinions!

She *has* been rational since she's been on the island, hasn't she? Maybe not-so-much before...she seemed to be ruled by her emotions when she was back in Miami, I think. But now, yes, I totally agree that she is far and away the most mature woman on the show! (That's why I love her!...and *why* don't I have a Juliet icon? Silly me.)
