I know, you're already gonna vote for Adam. but if you vote for Kris I'll forgive you

BUT I HAVE A CONFESSION TO MAKE. I DO NOT LIKE IT WHEN MY BOYS SING U2 SONGS. I got grouchy when my LOVE, David Cook, sang "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For." And I got grouchy, too, when Adam sang "One." VERY grouchy, since that's my favorite U2 song. Even though they both did a great job. See, the thing is, Bono is, like, a God to me and nobody, but NOBODY, can sing his songs like he can. Um. But listen to this, Adam's studio version of One. OMG. Still not even close to Bono, but still, OMG.

and don't laugh at me for my obviously hardcore incurable addiction to American Idol. I can't help myself. VOTE FOR ADAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ITA! Bono is absolutely God, and there's pretty much no one who can cover their songs without screwing up royally. They need to keep their overgrown teenybopper mitts off my collective precious, dammit.

I agree, I really think that no one should attempt a U2 song besides U2, because how can you improve on perfection? It almost seems blasphemous. I never warmed up to David Cook's rendition of "I Still Haven't Found," but Adam's studio version of "One" is growing on me. Still, singers will come and singers will go, but Bono will always be a God. AND ALSO MY MAN EDGE, LET'S NOT FORGET THE OTHER HALF OF THE DEITY.
