Hey, all my Jack/Sawyer friends, I wonder if you noticed something....



Y'all, the very last image we saw of Jack and Sawyer, as we went into hiatus, was Sawyer in Jack's arms. And look at their hands! *points at icon* Phooey on the circumstances, but this is a fangirl's DREAM!

I didn't notice until I wrote "Mr. Fix-It" for the luau and had to go back to that episode for some research. I'd been a little depressed about how the season ended, but seeing that *helped*! ;)

Well, I've been *trying* my best to keep it alive in my imagination, so this teeny bit of canon confirmation made me squee! :) Jack saved Sawyer's life again, but Sawyer also rushed in to keep Jack from getting killed -- that's progress!

You're right, there's nowhere else to go! Maybe they'll finally realize that in spite of all they've done to each other, they need one another, too. This is their last chance to get it right, so we should all go 'round with our fingers and toes crossed, even though that makes it challenging to walk and type. ;)

I definitely noticed it. Before that, I was kind of hoping their fistfight would end with one of them shoved the other up against a tree, very closely, and a real UST moment that could be ficced for the whole eight month hiatus, but alas. *grins*

Ahhhh, up against a tree would've been better far. *sighs wistfully* But I'll take anything I can get to get me through those eight lllooonnnggg, dry months. They've given us so little in the last few years that I've learned to superimpose UST onto just about *anything.* Necessity's the mother of invention, right? ;)

Excellent observation! Yes, Jack needs to comfort Sawyer, ASAP. (Assuming they didn't immediately flash to another time/space/dimension!) But hey, we can assume or write what we want, right? :)
