I'm starting to really like Locke (or Flocke) episodes because there's always LOTS of Sawyer.

So, first Smokey goes to Sawyer's house and Sawyer is playing some badass music that somebody smart can i.d. later. But before Smokey huffs and puffs and blows it down he goes and cuts down Richard, who he's got trussed up in a tree. LEAVE MY RICHARD ALONE!!!! And give him a mirror so he can check his makeup.

I think Richard isn't protected anymore now that Jacob is gone. I need to put Richard on my icon, to protect him from Smokey.

Is this a damn military base? Talk about recruiting here, recruiting there, and I didn't see an army anywhere. Only Jack saw that, inside his head. Oh, and Ana Lucia in her dead head. WHY am I punchy? Oh yeah, I'll get to that in my next post.

Ok, there seems to be line after line on my scribble sheet about Sawyer's dimples, and how adorable drunk!confused!Sawyer is and how I LOVE HIM when he busted out laughing at something, maybe Locke saying he was dead (is that right?), and Sawyer in his underwear and how seriously he takes his drinkin' - but the real question is, do they have Jack Daniels Tennessee Sippin' Whiskey on the island, 'cause that's all Sawyer would drink if he had his druthers. Which I guess he doesn't, but none of that stuffy McCutcheon for him. Oh, and there's more hearts and stuff about him being a clumsy drunk sloshing stuff everywhere, and then it just says "love your smile" and I seriously doubt I was talking about Flocke. My name is Allie and I am a Sawyer Fangirl, and if lovin' you is wrong I don't wanna be right.

Uh, er, forgive me, I was writing in the dark. My notes look like they say "Randy is Dach," and "Doinkin'." A kiss to anybody who can tell me what I meant.

That kid, the one who looks just like Peter Pan, said, "You know you can't kill 'him'." I think there are two choices for "him" - Richard or Sawyer. Awwwww, Peter Pan makes me think that Sawyer is the little boy who never grew up, not past that day when he was little. And he flew on an airplane sprinkled with pixie dust to a magical island and...I really should be saving this for some sort of fairy-tale x-over fic, so shhhhhhhh.

Sometimes I feel bad for Smokey. He IS trapped and he just wants to go home. That doesn't make him good (I love the way he threw the white rock and said "inside joke"), but it does make him pitiable.

WAIT, why do they still have electricity in New Otherton?

AND WHILE WE'RE ON THE SUBJECT, WHAT HAPPENED TO "SAWYER"??? Everybody calls him "James" now. I knew James...I forget the quote...he's no James. (Non-Americans, forgive me, it was a Stupid Politician Quote. Americans are invited to forgive me too.)

Ok, so, Smokey is stuck with Locke's face because of Jacob? I think before Jacob died he could hop from body to body, as long as they were dead. (Remember Yemi?)

I swear on my mother's...um...flower garden (she's not dead, you see), I cried when Ben spoke at Locke's funeral. Because I think he meant it. And not many people have the guts to stand up at someone's funeral and say, "And I'm sorry I killed you."

Then Frank, trust good old Frank, "This is the weirdest damn funeral I've ever been to."

I wonder, if alt!Locke had the choice, if he'd choose Helen or the ability to walk?

Oh Sawyer, I love you. "No offense, but you already died!" Baby, if nothing else, your adaptability never fails to astound me. ("A dead guy wants me to follow him down Tinker Toys over a cliff? Sure! But first let me bitch about it.")

Sawyer falling kinda makes me think of when Jack fell off the cliff and Locke rescued him. It always comes back around...especially on this show.

Of course there's something to protect, there's a magic damn island. Cures cancer and broken backs and stuff, right? Or am I missing something? I miss Jacob.

Wait. Waitwaitwait. 6 names. Who're we missing? KATE, for one. 'Course, Shannon, Boone, and Charlie, Michael and Walt...and Claire. That's the 14, counting Kwon as 2. I think the recruiter already got Claire, so what's with Kate's name not being there?

Sawyer was so freaking amazing tonight even if he is pretty much breaking my heart every week now. It's like it's just not Tuesday if I'm not curled in the corner crying over Lost anymore.

BEN! Oh good Lord he rocked this episode. Loved the funeral. I would have cried then to but then Frank said that thing and I almost fell out of my chair laughing.

You think the numbers represent the order they're dying in? *Hyperventilates* I can not watch Hurley die. That's pretty much the worst thing I can possibly imagine happening this season.

aurilly thinks Kate might be Jacob's loophole. Which I don't completely understand, but am totally on board with. ;)

I only cried at Locke's funeral, and that was just til Frank provided the comic relief. :) I felt for Sawyer, but I also felt that he was dealing -- yes, he was a mess but he had to go through that phase to start back up...like the Jimmy Bufett song, "Got to go fishin' down to rock bottom again." Nowhere to go but up, right?

Flocke pulled him out of it, and I don't believe for one minute that our Sawyer is gullible enough to follow someone he KNOWS isn't FLocke without a good reason. He's finding out what Flocke is up to, I think, and then he'll find a way out. Our boy always does. This time Jack, who has become badass again, thank God, should help him and my slash muse might wake up. ;)

RELAX, no, I don't really think the numbers represent the order they're gonna die in, because I don't think they'll all die. Hurley, for one. Sawyer, for another. And Jack. I think they'll survive, in some form or another. But it IS ominous that Jacob was starting to count down OUR Losties' numbers, the ones they've lived with for so long -- to know that they correspond to people is a little disconcerting.

I also think it was only the men who got the numbers. Kate and Claire were missing and Kwon could have referred to Jin.

I still haven't read aurilly's review, but I've seen it referred to several times, and I'm curious about how that would work. Kate would work for whoever Jacob inhabits and kill Flocke? That seems like the game that never ends, it goes on and on my friend.... (Heh, if you know the Lamb Chop song you'll have it stuck in your head all day...I'm evil.)

Oh, that's interesting. I mean, it doesn't really matter, but it's interesting. I like reboot!Locke's life way more than our Locke's. I'm happy that Helen was there.

I totally agree with you how awesome Ben was. He had been so pathetic recently that I really wanted him to get badass again. And he kind of did that here. He had balls. It was pretty great.

And of course, all the Sawyer stuff was fun too. I LOVED that he saw though FLocke right away.

ETA: and my theory is that it's Jin on the list, not Sun, because Sun didn't time travel. Though I don't know what you're talking about for Shannon and Boone, etc. Were they on the list crossed out? What I want to know is this: What about the 13 or so tailies that should still be kicking around? Why isn't Cindy on the list?

Oh Ben. I loved him in both scenarios. Now just look at us, loving Ben. BEN, who we hated with a passion just a few seasons ago. Smokey is not 100% evil, I promise you, because nobody/nothing on Lost is black or white, except for the zillions of examples they keep giving us in rocks and game board pieces and dream!Locke's eyes -- PEOPLE are not black and white, and I guess Smokey is an entity like a person. Maybe?

I think it's Jin on the list because I think the list is all men. Maybe Jacob's "candidates" are bodies he might possibly inhabit. If so, my boy Sawyer better RUN. 'Cause even though he's fucked up, at least he's HIMSELF, and I'll take his fucked-up self any day over him being possessed.

Do you see what I'm saying? The way I got to just the men was, I took the 14 originals, eliminated the 4 who've died (Shannon, Boone, Charlie, Michael) and the one that got away (Walt), and looked at who was left...and the ones left off were Kate and Claire, and if we get our pick of the Kwons I'd guess Sun was also left off. Leaving 6 men on the list. Does that make sense?

I don't think the order of the numbers has anything to do with what order anyone dies in, otherwise there would have been only 3 cross-outs before Flocke crossed (himself) off the list!

Oh, I totally agree that they have nothing to do with who dies when, I was just creating an ambience of fear and trepidation...didn't work, did it? Ah well, it was worth a shot. :)

I don't think that the dead originals were candidates, anyway, nor are the women. I think the 6 "candidates" are the 6 remaining original men: Jack, Sawyer, Sayid, Hurley, Jin, and formerly Locke.

I think so too. Although how cool would it be if everyone assumed Jin was the Kwon and then it was Sun that was left last-woman-standing and all badass and Jacoby? I mean, I'd be shocked if the show went in that direction, but it would be a good kind of shocked!!

I'm trying to figure out if anyone else we know is on the wall. I don't think they should be, so I'm trying to will away the fact that Megan found the beginning of Claire's name somewhere on there. Because it seems like their plane was drawn there by just those six numbers, so in this "era" of the island, it's really just those six. Maybe the Black Rock and the Submarine had a selection of candidates on them, but I think these six were it for our "generation", you know? Otherwise, why just the six numbers? It's not like "19 - Arzt" would make any sense.

I saw Kate's name on the wall somewhere. i thought she was 16 but maybe not. 22...but that;s not one of the numbers. maybe she's the only one Jacob didn't change, since she's still on the lam in the alt uni.

Sayid was 16. I think the point was that they were all either dead or one of "the Numbers," wasn't it? Except for the mysterious 2nd Kwon and poor already-recruited Claire (yeah, I've decided she's possessed by Smokey, whereas this time last week she was Rousseau!Claire to me). Even if she's there but not one of the Oh So Important Numbers, it makes Kate the Odd Man Out, and that's the thing that she hates more than anything. Don't mess with my glee, Megan, share it! Maybe it means she's meant to be Bride of Smokey.

I've changed my mind again. Or at least, refined my opinion. I don't think the original Lostie females are "candidates." I think Jacob (or whatever lived in Jabob) is looking for a body, and he wants to be a man. There are 6 original men left, if you count Locke, who just got crossed out. That would mean that the "Kwon" is Jin.

And our Jack and Sawyer are in danger! Yay, think of all the fic fodder...although is having Smokey and Jacob's spirit inhabit bodies too much like zombies for you?

I saw that theory all over last night, too, that girls can't be on the list. Which...bite me, Darlton. But I saw Rutherford with my own eyes on that wall! And yes, it could be Adam, Shannon's dad, but that doesn't make sense.

I am fine with possession (obviously). It's just possession of dead bodies (aka zombies). You expect my quirks to be logical? ;)

The only thing about Smokey that is making me seriously want to headdesk is: WHAT THE FUCK DOES IT MEAN THAT HE WANTS TO GO HOME? I doubt he has a nice house in the English countryside.

Sawyer was so awesome this round. Even if I really wish he didn't stick with f!Locke. It really is not safe. Also, I squeed when he was discussing Steinbeck. Yes, that's the stuff I care about.

BEN AT THE FUNERAL WAS JUST... LOL. And Frank got the best line though. Teacher!Ben in the school was also LOLsome.

I think that Kwon is Jin. They showed Jacob touching him, not Sun. Though he might have touched both and the hand was on the other side. Kate missing is weird because Jacob DID touch her, which makes a theory of aurilly's for which SHE is the next Jacob since she isn't in the list quite a cool one to me. Also if Kate was the new Jacob... THINK ABOUT HOW COULD BE THE ONLY TRIANGLE RESOLUTION.... *cough*

I am getting closer and closer to slashing Jacob and Richard every second. It will happen soon. But what if I never go back? Jack and Sawyer NEEEEEEED me!!!

No, Sawyer has never been one to do the safe thing where Locke is concerned, but he likes to follow Locke/Flocke to see what he's up to. I just hope he doesn't get used by him this time like he did at the Black Rock. But he's smart; I'm sure he learned from that.

I like the idea of Kate being the next Jacob, but she doesn't seem to be a candidate. No, I think she's got another role. Maybe they'll sacrifice her to the volcano. (What? Every self-respecting island has a volcano! And the Lost island fits every Jimmy Bufett song there is except for "Volcano," so they must have one somewhere and we just haven't seen it yet.)

I agree that it's Jacob who can't be killed. He'll come back in one form or another (maybe he already did as the little boy), and I hope he gets his nice, sexy form back soon! (Am I cheating on Sawyer? No, just because I'm on an all-Sawyer diet doesn't mean I can't look at the delicious menu!)

Megan said that, huh? I know she's looked at the screencaps pretty carefully. And I also heard that Kate was #108. I need to go look at them and see for myself. I'll report back with my findings, m'am. *salutes*

I'm not sure he's really stuck in Locke's form, but if you're going to recruit, it's best not to be the big scary black smoke monster....it's better to be the dead guy that everyone found creepy. :)
