Ah, okay! That's a cool idea. Most fandoms I've been in have settled way down after the show ended but Lost has such a great group of people, I'd hate to see it happen so strongly!

Oh, you gave me an idea. That's a dangerous thing, you know. ;) It isn't like the fandom is gonna go *poof!* and disappear at midnight on May 23rd. We'll still be here, most of us, even if we just come around to chat or talk about other interests or, like me, cling to denial and write fic and wish we could talk about Lost. I think maybe one of the comms like Lostsquee should host Lost Days, maybe one day a week where we who stayed til the hopefully-not-too-bitter-end can come and talk about show-related stuff. Did Josh cut his hair? Horrors! Is Evie ever gonna find another gig? (When pigs fly.) How do we like Charlie and Juliet in Flashforward? See, that's even discussing another show, but with Lost characters in it, so it counts. It could work, or we could at least try it, anyway...even if for no other reason than to save that beautiful icon from the horror of being rotated out!

I have no trouble believing I'll still write Lost fic (unless Darlton do something too horrible for me to deal with). I was in a movie fandom before. That's two and a half hours of canon and one hell of a lot of fic, so there's no reason people who want to keep writing should have to stop.

That's my fear, that Darlton will do something too, too horrible and I'll be scarred forever and I'll never write fic again. Doesn't it suck to distrust them like that? But it'll be okay, (if it pleases the gods), and the fandom will survive, at least for a while...and what the hell, nothing wrong with being friends after, right?

And I realized right after I posted that I got Penny and Juliet backward, which was plain stupid because I really like Flashforward, and I tried to like V but as much as I love Elizabeth Mitchell, V leaves me cold. Also I can't stop thinking of Penny as Penny and wondering where her accent went!

No, I didn't write a review. :) But the cable thing was some scary shit, the whole SE Wisconsin area with our cable company was out until 7:01 p.m. I CAN'T miss Lost, I have to watch it the night it airs, or I am anxious. I know, LOSER. ;)
