Squeeee!!!!
Um, that's all I have to say 'cause I just walked in the door after being in the hospital since Sunday and I am stoned on morphine. So I think I will have a happy Lost experience no matter what happens. Til the dope wears off, anyhow. Hooo-eeee, I like morphine, it is my friend. Too bad my pump I named C3PO wouldn't follow me home. He followed me all over my hospital room, beeping and generally being annoying except when he gave me the nice drugs. Y'all have no idea what I'm babbling about, do you? Morphine makes me talk. It makes some people sleep but it makes me talk, wanna hear about my childhood? I grew up a poor white child on the wrong side of the tracks...wait, no I didn't. I heard that in a movie somewhere. Actually the story of my life is boring. I should make something up. But instead I'm gonna take a catnap before American Idol comes on, and my boy Casey better step it up and be AWESOME tonight, because although he's good and very very pretty...did I say pretty? He's very very pretty, and he can sing and play guitar, what more does a woman need in a man? But he's not up to Adam's standards, or even David's. See, I thought Adam was better than David but David was just such a lovable teddy bear. But he had bad hair. Casey has great hair. Long and blond, just the way I like it. (I know, blah blah blah blah babble babble babble.) 'k, Happy Lost Day and I'll be back after the show unless I'm asleep or traumatized (I'm still a little on edge for reasons I won't discuss since some people consider previews spoilers.) Is it true it won't be on next week? If they're taking a week's hiatus, they'll probably leave us with a cliffhanger this week. That's not a spoiler, just an educated (from 6 years of watching) guess. 'k, bye for now!

I'm hearing that yes, next week is a rerun of 'Ab Aeterno' - that way they can keep all the new eps for May sweeps, I guess.
I haven't watched AI much this season but yes, Casey is v. pretty. And I never even used to like blondes!

I'm doing okay, but I'm disappointed that the procedure I had didn't clear up the pneumonia episodes. It means I'll have to have surgery after all. I've got a bunch of outpatient stuff to do first, though -- I'll keep you posted, and thank you for caring. *hugs*
I guess we're due one small hiatus to absorb everything that's happened in the last 13 episodes. We've gotten some straight answers, some major puzzle pieces...I feel like if I squint just right, I can almost make out what our show is goint to shape up to be. Maybe we need to take a few deep breaths over the next two weeks, and get ourselves prepared for the end. GAHHHHHHHHHH.
Casey is pretty but kinda dumb, I think. His song choice was lousy this week (I almost wanna say "as usual") -- there's just NO comparison to Adam, who constantly surprised me. I'd like to keep looking at Casey every week and yet I don't think he's got what it takes. Ha, listen to me, I've turned into Christian but seriously, if you've watched it at all, Crystal is the one to beat. It's about time for a girl Idol, I think!

Happy Lost day to you, too. ;)

I'm happy to be back, reading my flist and talking to my friends. It seems that we have no Lost this week (it's a rerun; I guess they're saving the last episodes for May), so we'll just have to entertain each other. ;)
♥s you like whoa!

Glad you're home - glad to hear you're doing ok!

I love Casey but I don't think he'll make it to the end. For some reason he keeps making bad song choices, or, if not exactly *bad*, ones that don't excite me very much. Now his looks, on the other hand, excite me very much! I just want to run my fingers through that hair.... Maybe they'll keep him around for a few more weeks, anyway.
Yes, I'm glad to be home, and especially glad to be back on my desktop computer - I HATE my laptop and that's why I wasn't around much on LJ while I was in the hospital. I'm feeling much better now and glad to be back with my friends. ♥!

I'm glad you're around again too! Why do you hate your laptop so much? I finally got one last year after much pleading (and saving) as we had one pc for FIVE`of us and it was so hard to get much time. Now we have three computers in the house and it's wonderful! I feel so lucky to have my own at last and know i can pop on any time, especially since we got the wireless connection earlier this year and I can go online as well as just typing my fic! (My older daughter has a netbook supplied from school - we hire it at a minimal rate - as she is in what they call an Alpha class. It's so cute!)

I need to remember in the future that 1) those in other countries see tv shows at different times than I do, and 2) you are in totally different seasons! I guess it's fall there, huh? Man, I really wish I could see where you live...I've added coming to visit you to my Bucket List (my list of things to do before I kick it!).
Actually my laptop is very pretty -- it's light blue with Japanese-looking flowers etched on it, and when I went on the Disney cruise a couple of years ago I added stickers of three of the princesses - Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and Belle. My problem with it is twofold. It's heavy, something I became painfully aware of while running through the Atlanta airport after I got my wallet stolen (remeber that episode?) on my way to Oregon to visit Megan. I had to talk to the police, then go to the place where my husband had wired money to me, which was all the way on the other side of the airport (and the Atlanta airport is HUGE, it's like, miles long), and then run all the way back to the OTHER side with minutes to spare to make my connecting flight, all the while lugging my laptop and carry-on bag. They make them so much smaller and lighter now, in the two or three years since I got mine. But I don't know if I could deal with a smaller one, which is my other problem with the one I have: the keyboard is too cramped and I make typos ALL THE TIME. It takes me twice as long to type on it as it does on my desktop because I have to constantly correct my mistakes. I guess if I used it more I'd get used to it, but I'd rather be lazy and use my desktop all the time, in my cozy cubby with its pretty pictures on the wall and postcards from my friends all over the world, like YOU! :D
My husband has his own desktop computer in our home office, and he has a laptop (that he's on constantly, it seems) in the family room where I watch tv. My daughter has a desktop in her apartment (she lives in an apartment that's connected to our house), and like your daughter, she has a laptop that's supplied by the school. That is such a wonderful thing! They've had the laptop service at her school for three years now, which is GREAT for homework and whatnot, but hers is an Apple so I have no idea how to use it! (I'm a PC girl myself.) As for netbooks, they look awesome - Megan has one and she brought it to the GFG in Vegas, and I kept wanting to take it away from her, lol! Does your daughter LOVE hers? They look like so much fun!

Ha! No, a lot of people d/l stuff so they're up to date, but I'm old and patient! It's so much easier to see things on my TV than using up my monthly allowance of GB by d/ling things I will never find time to look at! I also hate watching stuff on computers - it's so much more comfy on my couch with the big TV! Yeah, anyway, obviously we are always behind, but it's better than it used to be with a lot of stuff! We'd wait years in the seventies and eighties; now it's often just weeks!
Yup, autmun is in full swing now. Today is sunny but cool, so it'll be open fires before too long! I'm not much for winter, though I know we shouldn't complain - we don't even get snow! It's very damp here in Auckland though, and our house isn't very well insulated. Anyway, moans over! I hope your summer goes well, and I really hope you can make it over here one day! That would be awesome! I'd love to come to your place too - I've been to the US, but not much in the south.
Oh wow! You have SIX computers for THREE of you? That's almost more than I can imagine! We've felt so lucky to finally have three of them for five of us after all these years! ;-)
Oh yeah, my daughter loves her netbook - I wanted one for ages too, but I'm pretty happy with Toppy (my laptop). I don't go anywhere with it really, but knowing I could is awesome! I have issues with typos too, but somehow I manage not to go (too) crazy!
I'm sorry, I don't recall your mad dash or the stolen wallet thing, but I'm not always able to keep up to date so I may have missed it. You've given me the lowdown though, so I definitely understand why it would have been such a pain! *hugs* So sorry that had to happen to you.
I'm a pc girl too - no idea how to use an Apple, and luckily, my daughter's netbook is all microsoft too. I understand Apple's great, but it's so damned expensive and my pc does what I need - most of the extras that are 'free' with Apple are not things I'd buy from Microsoft anyway so mine still works out cheaper as far as I can see and I really don't have any more problems than any Apple users I know!
And more *hugs* just cos! I hope this comment isn't too long now! ;-)

Today it's new Lost day for me, yay!
I hope you will be up for some reviews and comment reviews and comments to comment reviews later.
It sounds like surgery did go okay -let us know :)

I'm only just now starting to read reviews, so expect a comment in your journal soon!
I haven't had my surgery yet - they only kept me in the hospital to clear up my pneumonia. The hernia surgery won't be for a few weeks, until after they do some outpatient procedures. I am dreading it, so maybe you can send some good vibes my way? I will keep you posted on how things go. ♥

I have always been here, just not very active...
I wrote a Lost-related post a few days ago (not exactly a review, though), but I am going to post some more thoughts sometime soon during the hiatus ^_^
