I'm going to shock you. I'm going to be incorrect, inapproiate, and impolite. I will try to be tactful, courteous, and sensitive. But I'm gonna ask, at what age did you lose your virginity? I know a couple of you are exempt and no worries if you don't want to answer. I just want to get an idea of what is the "normal" age, for reasons I might or might not tell in comments.

Held out 'til I was 20, remarkably!

*oddly proud*

Still got it. But I know I'm outside the norm.

23...just a few months ago, actually. But I know I'm not normal. Most of my friends lost it a couple years ago.

I'm apparently outside the norm as well - 23 and still got it.

25 and still got it, so - outside of norm. ;) But my best friend lost it at the age of 18.

One of my good friend's ex-girlfriend lost hers at 14 because she was "sick of having it and wanted to get it over with." *facepalm*

I don't think there is a normal age and it's one of those "different for everyone" things. Said friend's ex-girlfriend treated me like I was beneath her for still being a virgin, and it's like...why do you think you can have an opinion on what I do with my body?

22 and still got it. Nearly all of my friends lost theirs at 18/19 though. :)

17. No idea if that's normal.

But I was “everything but” for a few years.

Just shy of my 18th birthday, the day after I'd passed my driving test! Ah the memories!

20. I was behind the times of my friends that went to public school... about middle for the rest of my all-girls-school crew.

20. Not sure there's such a thing as a normal age though.

19th birthday, though I considered myself ready around 17/18 while I was dating someone who I subsequently broke up with, and then waited until the next decent guy came around. ;D

Most of my girl friends ranged between 17 and 20; a few younger (mostly with high-school boyfriends) and a few older (university-aged) as well.
