Any NaNo buds?

Hey y'all who are doing NaNo. Wanna be buddies? I don't know who's NaNo-ing but I sure would like some company. And people to bitch commiserate with. If you want, tell me you're insane like me and are NaNo-ing this year, and I'll add you to my buddy list. I've NaNo'ed for 4 years and I'm just discovering all the cool things I can do for it. If anybody wants to read my prologue, my username is Allie (Captain Obvious here) and then if you'd like to help me think of a good Irish pic to use for the cover, let me know, okay? I'm playing over there now, tho it's ungodly slow. I just heard that we need to be over 5000 words today and I'm not, so very soon I'm skedaddling my way back to my writing. I'm gonna kick this thing's ass this year, just watch me! I am WOMAN and I am strong...and I forgot the rest of the song.

I figured out that I have to write 2200 words a day in order to catch up by this time next week. Radio silence, Allie, radio silence. But wait, just one thing -- is that a butterfly on her typewriter (in the icon?) and how many typewriter icons do you have???

I think I have two icons. It's not a butterfly, though, it's the key doohickeys that hit the paper...like in your icon it's under the NoWri

I'm behind too. Not thinking about how many words to write to catch up again. I think I'm going to maybe come close to finishing but not finish rather than kill myself trying to get there. That may change as time wears on though!

I'm gonna finish! I'd make myself write that 100 times but it'd eat into NaNo time. And it looks like a butterfly to me so 'twill be, in my head. Pretty colors. And I like your Zen attitude. I don't have one...surprise!
