Hey, y'all Southern gals, I've got a question for you. It's kind of along the lines of holycitygirl's debate about whether they're called shopping "carts" or shopping "buggies." Here it is:

Is it spelled "sweetea" or "sweettea?" (If anybody responds that it's spelled "sweet tea," then you're not really Southern.)

Did everybody survive the Night of Terror last night? Please check in if your internets are working; Mama Allie is worried.

LOL, I guess I'm not really Southern because I was totally about to respond with: I always thought it was two words...

However, I do say buggies rather than carts, so maybe that evens things out? :P

Yeah, I guess that evens it out, 'cause I call 'em shopping carts, and I'm Southern to the BONE!

Well, yes, pronounciation is a whole other issue. Are shopping carts really called "buggies" in the south? I've never heard that before...

...I've lived in the South all my life and I've always thought it was "sweet tea". That's always how it is on menus, too.

I use cart and buggie interchangeably.
