Oh, holy shit.

Background: My husband usually goes to work mid-morning, and he wakes me up by bringing me a protein shake in bed. Last night I got a good night's sleep but I dreamed that scaryfreaky things kept me up all night, so when I started to wake up I thought I needed to sleep late to make up for it...I was a bit groggy and confused. My husband's schedule was unusually early today, so when someone came into my room and grabbed my ankle, I kicked and grumpily said "NO!". I'm not sure if I was saying "no" to waking up, or to breakfast, but my ankle was released and I slept a little more.

The Present: My husband just called me to get someone's phone number, and I apologized for kicking him earlier. HE HAD NO IDEA WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT.

Those of you who watched The River last night can legitimatly understand why I am SPOOKED and want to run away from home, can't you? EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK!!!!!

CREEPY!
You know, I haven't seen this show but this alone is enough to let me know that I never should. I have my hands full with Walking Dead already ;).

If you're at your spookiness-threshold already, I'd say stay away. But if you can branch out, imho this is the way to go, even if it does seem to bleed over into RL!

OMG, you think it's worse than WD? Then I'm definitely out, I have my hands full with zombie-nightmares already. Though - irrationally enough - I do love me a good scare ;).

Sorry for being an annoying little bitch, but I just got this meassage from the iheart people: "Because you were removed for inactivity in your personal journal, there's a waiting period before you'll be reconsidered. If you're back to using your journal regularly, you can have your friend vouch for you again -- tell her ideally sometime this week or before Monday."
Could you vouche for me one more time? Sorry for being such a pain *headdesk*.

Argh, they're being obstinate about this, aren't they? Don't worry, YOU'RE not frustrating me, THEY are. I think I squeezed in right under the wire to vouch for you, and I wrote this:

Hello again.

I recently vouched for one of my friends, [livejournal.com profile] zora_sourit, who was a member of [livejournal.com profile] iheartcinema and [livejournal.com profile] ihearttvshows. She received a notification that she was being removed due to lack of activity. She was quite distressed by this, and says that she will do whatever it takes to be a better member in the future. She asked me to vouch for her at that time, and I was happy to help. If she needs it, I can again vouch for her maturity and dependability, as well as her regular comments in my journal. She would be devastated to be removed from your communities permanently, and she hopes that with my help she will not be placed on a waiting list. She and I would both sincerely appreciate it if you would invite her back.

Thank you in advance! :)

If that doesn't do the trick, then they're not worth it! Good luck. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you

Wow, are you a lawyer ;)? That was most elaborate and eloquent, I'm impressed and flattered to have you vouche for me! Thank you so much *bear hugs*!!!! If that doesn't do it, it's not worth it. Geez!
They're certainly being very exclusive. Thank you for the effort, allie, I appreciate it immensly *kisses*

OMG. That's so weird! I had nightmares thanks to the second ep. I thought that was bad enough, but if that had happened to me I would probably be searching for an exorcist...or at least the Winchesters.

Um, YEAH, so did half my flist! I love it when we're all in it together. :)

I'll be at church tonight for choir practice, so I'll see if they have an excorcist handy for me. Good advice! ;D

Well, I'm assuming it was one of those vivid dreams... ones where you swear it's true (like how I'm convinced Barry Manilow is a shoe salesman now because of one like that). However, we haven't got this River thing you and the flist are raving about, so I dunno wassap with that???

Lucid dreaming, you mean? I love lucid dreams; I even have a book that teaches you how to consciously do it. Then you can wake up in Sawyer's arms....sometimes they can be scary, though!

So...Barry Manilow and Don McClean...you seem to have the same secret tastes that I do! (tho Barry, not so much...I can see him selling shoes!). Oh, and I believe there's one more we share who's totally cool *raises a toast to you with icon*

OMG, how can you not get The River? It's a network show - ABC, just like Lost was. I hear it got "soft" ratings overall but those of us who have been weaned on Lost ate it up and found it delicious! I wanna talk to you about it, hear your thoughts, so you'd better get it soon! (Can you d/l it from the website?)

OOoh, can I really wake up in Sawyer's arms? I'd so like that!

Ha! Secret tastes indeed, though not so much with the Barry Manilow here either - he was one of my sister's faves, I'm more the Don McLean/Jimmy Buffett/Eric Clapton fan (the latter I've also had lucid dreams about, which I will tell you of if you like!). *toasts your icon too*

We don't get The River yet, but it doesn't mean we won't! God knows how they choose TV shows for us (I have no idea what any of the US shows belong to what networks! Our TV channels are completely different to yours and shows from ANY of your networks can show up on ANY of our channels depending on who buys them!) and who decides when we'll get things! Some shows get here quickly (Lost) and some take a couple of years (Justified), and some just never seem to arrive at all (White Collar), and as I don't d/l, I just wait and see what we get. (I have a low data allowance and can't afford to d/l too much).

Yes please, I want to hear your lucid dreams about Eric Clapton!

(I think I had a lucid dream where Jimmy Buffett was a pilot named Frank on H50....)

I only wish they were more exciting! I once dreamed he was knitting a jumper, which seemed so real I was convinced he really did knit and kept expecting to hear of it in the news. Secondly, I dreamed he was recording a Carpenters' song (which one I'm not sure) for his 'new' album, which was to be called 'Storm'. Some weeks later, Clapton put out a new album and I have to say, I was almost surprised it wasn't called 'Storm'. And yes, I did check to make sure it didn't have a cover of a Carpenters' song on it!

(haha! That was great lucid dream! I'm sure I shared it! ;-) )

OMG! I just found out that one of Thing 2's old (well, old in teenage years) and dear friends has toured with Willie Nelson. Could a Jimmy Buffett gig be far behind???

Oh, that's so cool! I'd love to hear Ruby Jane's music.

I also would love to see Jimmy play again (he came to Auckland back in the 80's and you can bet I went!). We need to go to his concert together, in fact! ;-)
