And rightly so. It's the most crazy-making thing EVER, I swear. This is my 6th year (unlucky number, right?). I've won 3 times, lost twice, and this will be the first time I'll be writing something possibly for publication. I'm more than slightly terrified. But I'll hold your hand if you'll hold mine. When we're not busy typing or tearing out our hair, I mean.
I am excited as well as terrified! I've literally had these four characters in my head since I was eleven years old. I used to make up stories for them in maths class. This is the first time I'm actually writing them down.
(Two of them are actually now way more gay for each other when they were when I was eleven. I'm pretty down with that, I think the fantasy/fairytale genre is ready for a lesbian princess and her savage warrior girlfriend, but the UST really took me by suprise).
